3 Hours in the Shop

So I spent three hours in the shop last night practicing some different skills. I tried to take some work in progress photos, which is really hard to do haha.

Practicing a short square taper. About three inches, I started to curve it over, but it was to short so I straitened it out again.

I made it longer into a 6 inch taper. I then started to make a scroll by curing the end. Here is a small series of progression photos.

I only got three blisters which Nick said I should display. Its really hard to use a camera with only your left hand!

A last but not least a really quick video clip of the forge. I turn the blower on and it heats up turning the flame blue, then i ease up on it.
